Sables
On an
International level, the Sables are SCI's education
committee. Any Chapter member or spouse can join. Dues
are $20 per year for each member.
A few years
ago, Sables groups from all over the country worked together to
raise money to save the Granite Ranch, the location used for the
AWLS program. The Sables' fundraising efforts resulted in
the payoff of the mortgage on the Ranch, as well as completion of
some extensive renovation work.
The Novi
Chapter's Sables are active supporters of our Sensory Safari
program. They also send subscriptions to the children's
outdoor magazine, Tracks, to area school districts. They
organize the silent auction for the annual Chapter Fundraiser
Banquet and arrange our Chapter Christmas party.
